Canon Lenses: Is It Worth Buying The Brand Name And Not The Cheaper Alternatives? – If you own a newer Canon SLR, you have several choices of lens brands that you can buy for your camera. In addition to buying Canon brand lenses that work with the automatic focus of modern Canon’s, you can buy lenses from third party vendors such as Sigma and Tamron, who make Canon-compatible lenses for less cost than Canon. After having spent a large amount of money on the camera body, you may be asking yourself if it is worth spending the extra bucks for the brand name lens as well. I am an amateur photographer, so am certainly no expert, but from the day that I bought my Canon SLR with its brand name lenses you could see a marked jump in improvement in my photo albums. Now what I am talking about is a company that manufactures user-friendly products! Canon the camera making company that now gives varied other products and services to the world such as printers, inks and fax machines and copiers!
Canon’s Roots
Canon’s roots were laid in 1933 with very few employees as a precision optical instruments lab. The Laboratory was founded in 1933 in a third-floor apartment of the Takekawaya Building in Roppongi, Azabu Ward, Tokyo. Its objective was to produce high-grade cameras.
A young man named Goro Yoshida, a passionate camera-lover; and his brother-in-law, Saburo Uchida, set up the Laboratory jointly. Their aim was to make cameras that could compete with the German models that were considered the most advanced of the day.

Digital Nude Photography – Getting the Right Angles – It is inevitable to think of photography as a Visual art. Many believe that the only thing that can really limit an individual from taking an image and having the desired effects are one’s imagination and perception.
However, some of the captured images or portraits may not be acceptable to “all-knowing” critics and judges. The essence of photography is to meet your own personal criteria of value. The same sentiment goes with nudity.
Nudity is a form on art that is existent even during the time of the Greeks. Sculptures and paintings that were erected to depict various gods and goddesses can serve as concrete evidences. They want to capture these fine details of the bodies using cameras.

Goodbye to Films, Say Hello to Digital Cameras - With the entry of digital cameras, photography has never been so exciting.
Today, there are varieties of digital cameras to choose from already. Whether you shop either at the department store or online stores, you will see lots of them. Different digital cameras offer different features and capabilities. This is the reason why choosing one is getting more and more difficult. Once you see what each have to offer, you will obviously have a hard time deciding which one to buy.
One of the usual mistakes that people commit when buying their own digital camera is to be enticed by what the advertising mediums have to say about them. By the time they own that camera, they will realize that they are not as good as they first thought it is. It would then be too late to return it and opt for another kind.
Keep in mind that getting a digital camera should take a lot of consideration. Just like buying a car, you have to consider all aspects since this is one thing that you want to work well and would want to have for a long time.

Macro Digital Photography: Some Concerns – We have always found that looking at objects from another perspective is fascinating. This is because of the fact that we often discover new things just by looking at a familiar object from a different angle or focus. This might be the reason for people’s fascination with digital macro photography.
Digital macro photography is an art. There’s no question about that. It takes the genius of an artist to take something so ordinary and something so dismissible and turn it into something that just captures an aspect of life. For that is what art is. No art ever claimed to contain all the truths of life. Art is a reflection of the world through the eyes of the artist. By looking at a piece of art such as digital macro photography, we get to share the perspective of other people and that can be a very powerful connection.
